Data centers and IT cooling

Data center cooling is an important aspect of information technology because servers and other data center components generate heat. The heat must be dissipated efficiently to keep the equipment operating reliably and efficiently. There are various techniques and technologies that are used for cooling in data centers.

Data centers are undergoing many changes at the moment. The exchange of data has increased rapidly, new technologies such as virtualization and cloud computing are in use and power consumption has increased in a way no one could have foreseen a few years ago. Cooling and supply energy have become two major challenges for data center operators.

    Cold/hot aisle system

Cold aisle/hot aisle systems are often used in modern data centers. The servers are arranged in such a way that the front sides of the servers (cold aisles), where cold air is supplied, and the rear sides of the servers (hot aisles), where warm air is extracted, are separated from each other. This enables better control of the air flow and improves efficiency.

Choosing the right cooling technology depends on several factors, including the size of the data center, the type of hardware used, the environment and the energy efficiency goals. In recent years, energy efficiency in data centers has become increasingly important as the cost of energy and environmental impact increases.

Our modular approach not only helps you reduce your operating costs, but also to react dynamically to changes and expand your data center if necessary. As a result, you have full cost control and can increase your competitiveness through the advantages mentioned above.
